5 International cities that offer the most job opportunities for expats


An expat, short for expatriates is a person who leaves their home country to go work and reside in another. In recent years this has been a global trend, people change countries and find new homes in environments they prefer.

According to a research done by HSBC (a global financial services company), in which researchers asked a range of questions to 27,587 expats in 159 different countries and territories, here are the top five cities with the most job opportunities.

A major city in England, located in the West Midlands region. Birmingham is the second largest city in the UK after London. Birmingham’s economy is now dominated by the service sector.

The city is a major international commercial centre, ranked as a gamma+ world city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network; and an important transport, retail, events and conference hub.

Its metropolitan economy is the second largest in the United Kingdom, and job opportunities are plenty.
